"I think that what Seema is doing is of great bravery and sensitivity. Few things are as important as working together to achieve a common goal that benefits all of those involved and that changes how we think of ourselves.”
Clara Marques, our lovely model from São Paulo, Brazil, organized the Mahindra United World College of India's Women’s Week in late March. Along with a team of fellow students, she worked tirelessly for months to host numerous guest speakers, workshops, film screenings, and other thought-provoking events. Many thanks to Clara for all her time, effort, and passion!

"I like jewelry making. It is a very interesting project."
Introducing Dipali Thombre from Khubavali Village: one of Seema’s first artisans who has now become a teacher and production manager. She conducts regular jewelry-making sessions, along with other local teachers, to train and incorporate novice artisans into the group.
Dipali’s photo kicks off a new photography campaign, which aims to showcase those involved with Seema. Whether from the circle of artisans, volunteers, customers, or beneficiaries, each week we will proudly feature one member of the burgeoning Seema circle.
