We’re pleased to report a successful physiotherapy station at the K2S marathon, Donaje. ✨

Over 350 athletes received on-site physiotherapy and benefited from injury prevention, recovery care, and performance advice.
Our team of 22 physiotherapists, led by Dr. Meet, provided targeted soft-tissue therapy, taping, mobility checks, and quick rehab tips that helped runners recover faster and finish strong.
The event commeced at 6 am and concluded at 2:30 pm on 8th August, 2026.

Breastfeeding Awareness Week – Awareness Programme

The Community Physiotherapy Department from Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Physiotherapy Pune conducted a 'Breastfeeding Awareness Programme' on 7th August 2026 for the 4th year BPTh students on the occasion of Breastfeeding Awareness Week.

Two interactive lectures were held for the students. "Dr. Pooja Padbhidri" a neonatal therapist and lactation consultant spoke about the myths of breast feeding and "Dr. Archana Wadkar" conducted the practical session, which focused on important facts and practical aspects of breastfeeding.

Both sessions were highly interactive and well received by the students, with enthusiastic participation and engagement.

We are delighted to highlight the active participation and significant contributions of our esteemed faculty members **Dr. Swati Bhise, Principal**, and **Dr. Janhavi Atre, Associate Professor**, at **NeuroHarmony 2.0 – A National Multidisciplinary Conference on Neuro-Rehabilitation and Neuro-Palliative Care**, held from **23rd to 26th July 2026**.

🌟 **Dr. Swati Bhise, Principal**, served as the **Chairperson** for the session **“Advanced Neuro Rehab and Technology”**, held on **25th July 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM**. The session featured insightful presentations on **Neuromodulation and Advanced Neuro-Rehabilitation**, delivered by **Vivek Mishra, Dr. Sagar Betai, Ms. Gauri Paranjape, and Dr. Gaurish Kenkre (PT)**.

🌟 **Dr. Janhavi Atre (PT), Associate Professor**, served as the **Joint Organizing Secretary** of NeuroHarmony 2.0, contributing to the successful organization of this national-level multidisciplinary conference. She also served as a **Moderator** for the engaging panel discussion **“Neuro Critical Care – An Intensive Teamwork”**, alongside **Dr. Smita Ingale (OT)** on 25th July 2026 from 12 pm to 1 pm.

The panel brought together an esteemed group of experts, including **Dr. Siddharth Nimal, Dr. Tushar Borde, Ms. Ambika Nair, Ms. Rachana Paniker, Dr. Rohini Dange (PT), Dr. Shreya Gosar (OT), and Ms. Pushpamma Joy**, who shared valuable perspectives on the importance of collaborative, multidisciplinary care in neurocritical settings.
