Three introductory workshops English, Hindi (Adults) and Marathi (for children) at Hiware Bazaar near Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar) in Maharashtra. It is near Pune/Mumbai in Maharashtra

There is a strong focus on education area with solid base for individuals, family, society and larger spheres that play an important role in education.

For children/adults, it will be a great learning experience of various spheres of living. There are programs for children for graduation or workshops for adults/children round the year at different places in India.

Revisiting the early days of Anubhutee learning centre campus development!

Anubhutee Learning Centre campus is located in a lush green, biodiversity zone. Being in nature, children enjoy the peaceful environment and learn what interests them. It is interesting to observe that children spend really a quality time on a swing, roaming in the campus, tree, a sit out under a tree or participating in various activities. During the journey community members supported children's needs for The Machan, volleyball ground, football, outdoor trips and much more.

Stakeholders subscribed to various roles associated with architectural design, eco-friendly construction, and natural farming.
Parents, children, facilitators and mentors came together to participate in defining the vision back in 2019.

For construction, various types of local soil, rice husk, straws were used for experiments to understand the suitable proportion having excellent strength of the mud brick. Sun dried adobe mud bricks were used for building the walls of the hall. Every member of community spent tireless efforts to complete development activities.

Community members enjoyed participation in farm activities for toxin free vegetables.

While working together on the effort, everyone learnt various aspects to identify requirements, plan, budget, look for options, material quality, durability, feasibility & strength. During the journey, all of us experienced patience, courage, generosity. Also, we experienced important behavioural values like trust, respect, care, affection, gratitude, love.

In addition to it, it is important to build a good understanding of manifested values, realised values, production values, values associated with education thoroughly.

Every Friday is different at ALC. Some Fridays, we come together and play team games. Team games help us learn about ourselves and how we are together.

How do you create a freedom based learning environment where children can make, create, do the things that interests them?

To facilitate such a open learning environment, at Anubhutee, we created "hubs". Children decide which hub they want to join and what they want to make/do there.

Board Game Day at Anubhutee Learning Centre!

It was an open event for all children. We had super fun playing different kinds of games. While the games challenged us and made us think, some of us played as if we were in the "flow" for the whole day 😍.

This week we decided to go for a spontaneous Learning Journey to Pune's JM road by Pune Metro.
While most younger children, had fun in the metro, the older children had the challenge to barter a pencil with random people on street and get different stuffs from them and then barter it further. Objective was to learn talking to strangers, deal with failures and build communication skills.
Children went to barter with all kinds of people - shop owners, street vendors, policemen.
