We just wrapped up an incredible set of 4 parallel 3-day workshops for 112 passionate educators at Delhi Public School, Surat, co-conducted by Navnirmiti Learning Foundation (Pune) and Edugenie (Guwahati). The workshops were all about transforming how we teach and learn core math concepts through a systematic, two-step pedagogy called Universal Active Math (UAM). Preprimary to 10th grade teachers learnt the pedagogy by 'doing and understanding'. They actively explored graded problem-solving techniques using creative, hands-on manipulatives and specially developed worksheets, experiencing firsthand what true classroom engagement looks like. All activities were mapped to the new NCERT textbooks.
