A PROUD MOMENT FOR ALL OF US AT BHARATIYA JAIN SANGHATANA!
Shri Shantilal Muttha, the founder of Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana & Shantilal Muttha Foundation, awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Manav Seva Award 2017 for his outstanding and dedicated services for welfare and development of children.

He received it today, 14th November 2017, at a grand ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, from the hands of the Honourable President of India, Shri. Ram Nath Kovind.

Shri Shantilal Muttha, has been doing seminal work for more than 3 decades, and helped in the educational rehabilitation of approximately 4000 distressed children from disaster stricken areas of the country by providing education, lodging, nutrition and health care. His 'Smart Girl' program, towards empowerment of adolescent girls empowered 73000 school girls of Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra. The Smart Girl program is now being rolled out to over 300000 school girls of Pune district.
