महाराष्ट्र गर्ल्स एज्युकेशन सोसायटीच्या हुजूरपागा शाळेच्या सर्वच शाखांमधे सेशन असले की, एक मनात असत तिथलं आदरातिथ्य , आणि शाळेत चालणारे नवीन उपक्रम. खूप वेग वेगळ्या पद्धतीचे उपक्रम शाळांमध्ये घेतले जातात.
कालच आम्ही गुजरवाडी येथील हुजूरपागा मुलींच्या इंग्रजी माध्यमाच्या शाळेत सेशन घेण्यासाठी जाऊन आलो.
एक तर निसर्गरम्य ठिकाण, आजू बाजूला डोंगर, हिरवळ एक छान आनंदी वातावरण त्यात शाळेच्या शिक्षकांचा उत्साह आणि आदरातिथ्य या मुळे संपूर्ण दिवस आनंदात गेला.
शाळेत मोठ आवार असल्यानेअनेक उपक्रम शाळेत राबविण्यात येतात. तिथल्या मुख्यध्यापकांनी छोटे शेतीचे प्रयोग विद्यार्थिनींना बरोबर घेऊन केले आहेत. तूर , भाज्या , आर्वेदिक वृक्षांची लागवड , आवळ्यची झाडे लावली आहेत. त्यांच्या इतर शाखेतील विद्यार्थीनींना झाडाचे वाटप असा एक उपक्रम आहे. तसेच एक अभिनव उपक्रम म्हणजे भाकरी चा दिवस, आजच्या पिझ्झा बर्गरच्या काळात वेग वेगळ्या भाकरी बनवून शाळेत घेऊन यायचे आणि लावलेल्या हरभ-याची भाजी तिथंच करून विद्यार्थीनी स्वादीष्ट अशा जेवणाचा आस्वाद घेतात. अशा छोट्या गोष्टीतून निसर्गाशी नाळ जोडण्या च प्रयत्न केला जातो.एकतर ही सवय लागण , मुलीच्या pcod या प्रश्न साठी जे आर्वेदिक वनस्पतीची माहिती मुलींना देणे त्या वनस्पती शाळेत लावण त्याच बरोबर आई मुलगी मंगळागौरीचे खेळ ठेवले स्पर्धांचे आयोजन केले जाते. एवढेच नाही तर मुलींच्या सुरक्षितता संदर्भात goodtouch &bad touch, स्वसंरक्षण या विषयीच्या सत्राचे आयोजन दर वर्षी केले जाते.
शाळेच्या मुख्याध्यापिका पंडित मॅडम, आणि त्यांची टीम मुलींसाठी काय करता येईल ह्याचा सातत्याने विचार करीत असते. मुलींसाठी ची तळमळ त्यांच्या प्रत्येक कल्पक प्रकल्पातून दिसते.
खुप कौतुक वाटत पंडित मॅडम आणि त्यांच्या टीमचे. असेच काम करण्यासाठी सर्व टीमला खूप शुभेच्छा!

Reflections has been conducting sessions actively on the topic "Good Touch Bad Touch" since the year 2017 in collaboration with Gravittus Foundation. Many schools approach us for repeat sessions so that the information we give is ingrained in their mind. When we repeat the sessions in such schools, we have observed that not only do children remember the details of the session, but they also remember our faces. This project has given so much to cherish. It has helped us change our outlook towards people. It has taught us to be unbiased, non judgemental. It has taught us to keep working and keep going no matter what the circumstances are. Immensely grateful to Gravittus Foundation for trusting us with this project.

Reflections wishes everyone Happy Guru Purnima to all those who inspire people to become a better version of themselves. Hearfelt gratitude to all those who are in the noble profession of teaching.
