*80th Independence Day Celebration at Abhinav English School CBSE, Narhe Campus* ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

India celebrated its *80th Independence Day*, and at *Abhinav English School CBSE, Narhe Campus*, the spirit of patriotism was alive in every heart.

The ceremony commenced on the school grounds with *our Chief Guest Mr. MADHAv Sanap hoisting the National Flag*. The air was filled with pride as the *students of Abhinav sung Vandematram, National Anthem, Maharashtra Geet, Jhenda Geet*, their voices echoing unity and devotion.

Following the flag hoisting, *Honarable Treasurer Dhruvji Jagtap Sir graced the Occasion* accompanied by *our Revered Principal, Dr. Aarti Gangurde along with all School Heads* to the *Pharmacy Hall* for the indoor program.

The *Music Department prepared a patriotic song "Himadri Ting Shrung Se." Written by Jayshankar Prasad ji in the pre-independence era.* The timeless lyrics prepared by Our Music Teachers *Mr. Mahesh Gosavi and Mrs Nayana Dhengale* reminded everyone of the sacrifices that paved the way for our freedom.

One of the most poignant moments of the day was *a Tear Jerking Performance in the form of a Skit, on the Jallianwala Baugh Massacre and Sardar Uddham Singh exacting pure Revenge for the lives lost.* The performance Directed by our very own Teacher *Mr.Mauli Kadu* left the audience reflective and deeply moved.

The program concluded on a high note with *an Energetic Dance Mash Up showcasing the spirits of Our Awesome Girls*, bringing energy, joy, and celebration to the occasion.

*Mr. Madhav Sanap addressed the gathering with an enlightening speech endorsing the new age need of financial, Social and Health literacy .. emphasising the need for core values to be upheld by the youth of today* ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒป His words inspired both students and teachers to look beyond academics and build a responsible, value-driven future.

The entire program was *anchored by Mrs. Namrata Ranshur bridging each performance with an elegant design of words*, keeping the audience engaged throughout.

The *80th Independence Day* at Abhinav was not just a celebration, but a tribute to our past, a reflection on our present, and a promise for the future.

Our school celebrated School Librarian Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The celebration aimed to encourage students to develop a love for reading and appreciate the importance of books and the school library.
As part of the celebration, some students generously donated books to the school library. Students from Classes II to IV participated in a speech activity and shared their thoughts about the importance of books, reading, and libraries.
A quiz competition was also organized for students of Classes VI to IX, encouraging them to enhance their knowledge and learning skills.
The programme also included a special pooja of the Bhagavad Gita, conducted by our respected Principal, Dr. Aarti Gangurde Maโ€™am, seeking blessings and celebrating the importance of knowledge and wisdom.
The celebration was an enriching and memorable experience for all the students and teachers. It beautifully highlighted the message that โ€œBooks are our best friends and knowledge is the key to success.โ€

*Date:* Saturday, 8th August 2026 Abhinav English School CBSE, Narhe participated in *"Swar Mohtsav"*, an Inter-School Group Singing Competition organized by Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Sulochana Natu High School, Shivajinagar, Pune.

The theme for the competition was *"Welcome Song / Prayer Song in Marathi /Hindi/Sanskrit.

It is a matter of great pride that *our students won the 1st Prize* ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰in their very first attempt. They performed with great confidence, devotion, and a well-controlled stage presence. This is a big achievement for our students and for the school.
