Happy Women's Day

Making of Vermin-compost manure is a part of the School development programme, which was started in the month of October 2016, is completed on 24th January 2017 by the students of Grade IX to XII.

Kite making activity was conducted for the students of Grade II to IV as a part of a project “Best out of waste” on 11th and 12th January 2017. Students used newspapers as a raw material to make kites of various shapes and sizes. Thus it gave an enjoyable experience for the Primary Section.
KITE FLYING FESTIVAL:
Kite flying festival was celebrated on 13th and 14th January 2017 at the school ground on the eve of Makar Sankrati for the day boarder students whereas on the day of Makar Sankrati boarded students enjoyed the same with full zeal.

The school "Valedictory Function" was arranged on Saturday 4th February 2017 as a "Blessing Ceremony for Grade X and Farewell for Grade XII". Retd. Colonel D.A. Patil was the Chief Guest who addressed graduating students by giving the details of career opportunities in the Armed Forces. Mr. Paresh Parekh the Chairman of the Heritage Education Society blessed and wished the students on the occasion.

68th Republic Day was celebrated on the school ground in the presence of the Chief
guest Mr. Harishchandra Gadsingh- Trustee of The Heritage School, who hoisted
the flag on this occasion. “ Access of technology by the young generation in negative aspect is one of the threat for the future of our country and we should take necessary steps to make the students realize this because this is the need of an hour.” is addressed by Mr. Gadsing in his speech.

Teaching of Mural Painting, a branch of Fine Art, was taken up this month. The students from grade II to XII painted murals on the School’s boundary walls and displayed their artistic abilities.

The students of the Primary section performed a skit on 22nd December 2016 on the birth of Jesus Christ, as a part of Christmas celebration. Later, Santa Clause appeared on the stage and disbursed gifts to the students.

The school celebrated its 11th Annual Sports Day on 17th December 2016 on the new playground allotted to the school this year. Various events such as 100 mtrs, 200 mtrs and 400 mtrs were conducted on the day. Mr. Harishchandra Gadsingh, the trustee of The Heritage School was the Chief Guest for the function. He praised the spirit, efforts, strength and helpful nature of the students on the playground

A tribute to our National Heroes’ was celebrated on Saturday 24 th December 2016. The students and staff participated with full enthusiasm. It was a memorable extravaganza for every Heritagian. Prof. (Dr.) Vilas Salokhe, the Director Academics of D.Y. Patil Technical Campus, Talegaon, Pune presided over the function and addressed the gathering, “It is an overwhelming experience for me to see the students’ performances. The scenario created by the students made me feel the association with every character, as they emerged on the stage.”Mr. Paresh Parekh, the Chairman of The Heritage Education Society, Mr. Harishchandra Gadsingh, The Trustee, Mr. Parshwadeep Singh Cluster Head from Pearson Schools graced the occasion with their presence and appreciated the efforts of the Principal, Teachers and especially the Students of the school.

Thus, it was one of the most successful events which were enjoyed by all.
