The legalization of ma*****na is not a dangerous experiment – the prohibition is the experiment, and it has failed dramatically, with millions of victims all around the world.

It's indeed a bad laws and needs a major reform as it disregards the healing properties of cannabis and industrial use of h**p while government is in no way capable to curb the black market. Also government needs to take into consideration that countries across globe are legalizing cannabis. Demand for National Cannabis Commission to initiate scientific research on this amazing plant

Govt moves to amend NDPS Act, Opposition calls it ‘bad law’ Opposition alleged that the bill was an “example of bad drafting” by the government, and that it was “not responsive nor sensitive” to Opposition's objections.

Modi govt plans changes to NDPS Act, could decriminalise possession of small quantities of drugs The recommendations by various ministries are likely to be considered and included in the draft of an amendment bill that could be presented in the upcoming Parliament session.

Maharashtra is divided into 36 districts, which are grouped into six revenue divisions viz. Konkan, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati and Nagpur for administrative purposes.

Is It Time For India To Relook At Its Policy Towards Ma*****na?
At a time the NDPS Act and its stringent provision are in the limelight over the ongoing case of Shah Rukh Khan's son A***n Khan, it has been reported that the social justice and empowerment ministry wants a review of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and has recommended that possession small quantities of drugs for personal consumption can be decriminalised. The recommendation has been submitted to the department of revenue, which is the nodal authority of the NDPS act. The department had asked several ministries to suggest changes to the law if any.
