More than a third of women with ADHD and 22.5% of men with ADHD who participated in a recent study also reported experiencing migraine headaches, which suggests a strong comorbid link between the two conditions in adults, particularly women in their 50s.

Anybody else like Becca suffer from eye strain? It can take many forms like squinting, opening eyes wide or blinking. Becca knew when an Irlen color was good for her brain because her eyes stopped twitching!

Does Irlen Syndrome have an effect on handwriting and notetaking?
The short answer is ..... Yes it does.
Many children and even adults with Irlen Syndrome have difficult with writing neat, writing on the lines, and sometimes even thinking about what they are going to write.
Reversals of letters and words, and even writing whole sentences in mirror image is common in children with Irlen Syndrome.
Looking at the image below, written by the same little boy clearly shows the benefit of writing the correct coloured paper.

Conclusions: These results suggest that long hour exposure to high illuminance visible electromagnetic radiations induced severe alterations in brain function and general health in mice partly mediated by damages to the neocortex-entorhinal cortex-hippocampus axis. These findings raise caution over long hour use of high illuminance artificial light.
