The award was presented by Chief Guest Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath A. Mashelkar (Fellow of the Royal Society of London & World-Famous Scientist), under the Chairmanship of Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijay P. Bhatkar (World-Renowned Computer Scientist). Dr. Vishwanath Karad, accompanied by these pioneering figures throughout his journey promoting world peace.

The event was graced by Special Guest of Honour Shri Shrinivas Patil (Dr. Karad's childhood friend, former MP, and Governor of Sikkim). Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan (Former Vice Chairman, UGC and Former Chairman, NAAC), Dr. Sunil G. Bhirud (Vice Chancellor, COEP Technological University, Pune), and Dr. Pramod Chaudhari (Chairman, Praj Industries and Chairman, BOG, COEP Technological University, Pune).

It feels like life has come to a complete circle - then a professor now being honoured with the Life Time Achievement Award by the Alumni Association of COEP Technological University, Pune

We take pride in sharing that Vishwadharmi Revd. Prof. Dr. Vishwanath Karad sir was honoured with the prestigious "Lifetime Achievement Award" for his outstanding contributions to education and global peace. Dr. Karad, who graduated from COEP in 1963 and later joined the institute as a professor, has dedicated his life to these critical areas. His relentless efforts have left an indelible mark on the community and beyond.

Vishwadharmi Revd. Prof. Dr. Vishwanath Karad sir was conferred with the prestigious Vishwashanti Ratna Award upon the esteemed by distinguished teachers, educationists, philosophers, thinkers, scientists, and students from Pune.

This recognition celebrates his exceptional contributions, notably the development of the unique Value-Based Universal Education System and his unwavering dedication to promote a global culture of peace.
