Dept. of AI and ML, SIT Pune had the privilege of hosting Director Sir Dr. Ketan Kotecha, for an insightful review of 100+ AI/ML projects developed by our Second and Third Year AIML students in cutting-edge domains such as LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, and Generative AI. Many of these works demonstrated clear potential for real-world deployment, startup incubation, and intellectual property development, aligning closely with current industry needs.

Delighted to share that our M.Tech AIML students Akshaya Suryavanshi and Chetanya Bhadravati got shortlisted among the Top 30 Teams and secured a cash prize of ₹2,00,000 at the VOIS Tech Innovation Marathon 2.0 on Emerging Technologies! 🎉

VOIS Innovation Marathon 2.0 is a national hackathon by Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (VOIS). Around 200 teams from across India participated, with the top 50 reaching the finals and 30 teams winning ₹2 lakh each.

Their project AI-Powered Voice Antispoofing System addresses one of today's most pressing security challenges using AI to distinguish genuine human voices from spoofed ones. What makes this solution truly remarkable is its generalizability: it can be seamlessly integrated into financial systems, voice-based authentication platforms, IoT ecosystems, smart assistants, and more making it a robust, industry-ready solution with wide real-world applicability.
