Hello MITians,
We had a meeting with our principal Mr.Bhalerao Sir and our R&D dean Mr.Kharinar Sir regarding the autonomy and discussed about its possibilities. They quoted that they will try their best to get lateral autonomy and there is still no confirmation on the type of autonomy. Pune University has suggested to go with progressive autonomy but its totally upon the institution so lets hope for the very best.

As many of you know that our college committee is probably going for the progressive autonomy not the lateral autonomy. That means the students who are currently studying in the college are not going to be under autonomy. Autonomy is only for the coming students in next year. As the autonomy is very much advantageous so we are going request the committee for the lateral autonomy and we want your support.
