I) Position Summary

The key objective of the position is to provision template driven configurations on the Managed CPE for the IP/ MPLS based services on Tata Communication Global Enterprise network as per customer requirement on day to day basis received through the Order Management Tool. Also the End-to-end testing for the customer services has to be carried out once the services are ready to be delivered to the customer.

In addition to provisioning new services, the position is also responsible for MIS preparation and should be ready to handle the database entries in MS Excel, and prepare the PowerPoint presentations.

It is outsource position with the M/E shift schedules.

II) Person Specification:

a) Essential Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (Telecommunication/ Computers) or equivalent degree with max. 1 yrs of experience or Diploma with 2 yrs of experience & CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)

b) Requisite Skills:

> Technical
Good knowledge of IP based services. Knowledgeable in Network Fundamentals, Routing protocols and Switching. Configuration and troubleshooting skills on Cisco and Juniper routers is a must. Network device configuration and maintenance experience of 1 year in an organization of repute.

Candidate should have advance knowledge for following applications,

Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word

Additional knowledge of any reporting tool will be advantage.

> Functional
Excellent knowledge and hands-on on Network Fundamentals, Routing protocols and Switching. Good configuration and troubleshooting skills on Cisco and Juniper routers (Hands-on) is a must.

Systems/process knowledge & of MS-Office suite are key drivers on the job.

c) Work Experience
Should have worked in a service provider's environment where network device configuration and maintenance would have been a Core activity. Familiarity with Cisco equipments and configurations is must. Exposure to IP/MPLS and MPLS based VPNs is desirable. CCIP/ CCNP certifications would be an added advantage.

Candidate should have experience in database entries and preparing MIS. He should also have experience in preparing Presentations.

One - Two years experience in Networking field.
