Autumn weather brought storm clouds to the Canadian Rockies. The light was so fascinating that the whole scene looked immensely magical despite the mountain being in the shadow. The lake was scintillating emerald blue. The aspen leaves rustled as the wind blew.

Our Post Processing Workshop over the weekend was a blast! It’s always the energy of the participants that make it a success !

Everyone had the chance to learn and enjoy new processing techniques, which in turn helped them gain fresh perspectives on photography.

And this time, our participants brought in incredible photos from diverse corners of the globe, and sharing their experiences during the session added an extra layer of excitement to the workshop ! Great work guys !

Participants pictures coming soon ..!

While I was excited and juggling two cameras to take pictures when I saw him. A moment later, I felt a bit strange as some tourists disturbed him.

I am all for ecotourism, but not just in the namesake. we MUST respect animals. It's NOT our right, it's ONLY our PRIVILEGE.

And I want to stand by my words. We will make every effort to avoid such disturbance to the wildlife in our tours. Go with to explore and feel part of this jungle.

We let the tiger escape the herd of vehicles. The whole commotion was too much, and we moved away from everyone else to the quietness of the gently flowing river, amidst the rocks and trees along the banks.

LAST CALL

25/04/2024

watched the tiger coming into the frame. My heart stopped. It paused at the tree, smelled it, and did the territory marking. It then walked across. I hoped it would look in this direction, and then this! I knew I had seen something extraordinary.

Much credit goes to Pramod, who sensed the arrival just by noticing the fleeing deer.

More than photography or any stardom that brings it, I just relish myself in nature. Photography taught me to admire light and then appreciate nature that shines in it.

Here a sambar deer female looked so pretty in the soft orange light at the sunset, defused by the little haze and dust that flies near the day-end. It walked through the dry grassy meadow to the water in the small rivulet, before it rested for the night, I think.

My team in India is leading a wildlife (Photography or Not) tour to Panna National Park, my new favorite. led by my favorite wildlife expert and talented photographer . My team and I lead various incredibly diverse national parks in India.
