Indian Institute of Foreign Trade presents-
International Research Paper Writing Competition 2013
under the aegis of Quo Vadis 2013, the Annual Management Fest at IIFT.
With a view to generate fresh ideas, research and viewpoints on the opportunities in retail sector, IIFT presents the International Research Paper Writing Contest as a unique platform for the best students world over to battle it out through ground-breaking research and ideation.
Theme: Opportunities and Challenges for Investment in Retail Sector in Emerging Economies
Sub themes:
a. Investment in retail sector- experiences of emerging nations
b. The organized and the unorganized retail in emerging economies- Synergies with investment plans and policies
c. Retail and the Small & Medium Enterprises
Note: The participants are free to choose any sub-theme in addition to those listed above
Important Dates:
1. Last date for submission of abstract: 20th August, 2013, 23.59 IST
2. Date of results, Phase 1: 25th August, 2013
3. Last date for submission of research paper: 20th September, 2013, 23.59 IST
4. Date of results, Phase 2: First week, October 2013
5. Date of paper presentation by top 5 candidates at IIFT Campus: 16th November, 2013
6. Final result announcement: 16th November, 2013
Prizes:
First Position: USD 2,000 + Certificate
Second Position: USD 1,000 + Certificate
Third Position: USD 500 + Certificate
Consolation Prize: USD 100 + Certificate
Certificates of Appreciation will be awarded to all the participants
