Symbiosis Centre for Liberal Arts was established in July 2006 as an initiative of the Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce. A Liberal Arts education involves a focus study in the Liberal Arts disciplines (Humanities, Social Sciences, Language and Literature and Performing Arts). The entire Liberal Arts program rests on the foundation of healthy debate and hampered discussion and free enquiry. T

Comparative Mythology
Mythology has played an integral part in every civilization throughout the world. Comparative Mythology is a comparison of myths from diverse cultures in an attempt to identify shared themes and characteristics. This course investigates myths representing diverse global cultures; introduces scholarly theories and methods of interpretation; compares and contrasts plot structures, themes and character types within and across cultures; and traces myth's relationship with religion and the arts.
