सर्वप्रथम तुम्हा सर्वाना छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज जन्मोत्सवाच्या खूप खूप शुभेच्छा. सालाबादप्रमाणे यावर्षीही आम्ही मल्हारगड ते झील संस्था (नर्हे,पुणे) अशी ३५ कि.मी शिवज्योत घेऊन दौड केली आणि रात्री दौड करताना चा तो अनुभव या व्हिडिओद्वारे चित्रित करून तुमच्या पर्यंत पोहचवण्याचा एक प्रयत्न करत आहोत .महाराष्ट्राच्या सर्व किल्ल्यांमध्ये सर्वात शेवटी बांधला गेलेला म्हणून मल्हारगड किल्ला प्रसिद्ध आहे. पुण्याहून सासवडला जाताना लागणाऱ्या दिवेघाटावर लक्ष ठेवण्यासाठी मल्हारगडाची निर्मिती केली गेली.अजूनही तटबंदी ,बुरुज बऱ्यापैकी शाबूत असलेला हा किल्ला आहे त्यामुळे एक वेळ नक्की भेट द्या

कात्रज ते सिंहगड हा मूनलाईट ट्रेक म्हणजे भटक्यांसाठी पर्वणीच! तुमची शारीरिक, मानसिक कसोटी बघणारा हा ट्रेक,पौर्णिमेच्या दरम्यान चंद्रप्रकाशात 13-14 टेकड्या चढउतार करत 15-16 किलोमीटर चालण्याचा अनुभव एकदा तरी घ्यावा.पहिल्या टेकडीवर पोहचल्यावर सर्व ग्रुप लीडर आपल्या ग्रुपला सांगतात, "ज्यांना परत जायचं आहे त्यांनी आत्ताच जा, कारण आता जर तुम्ही पुढे गेलात तर माघारी फिरणे शक्य नाही" आणि मग तिथून खऱ्या ट्रेक ला सुरवात होते , रात्री डोंगरावरून दिसणारी पुणे शहराची रोषणाई पाहायची; काळोखात, एकांतात, निरव शांततेत अचानक कानावर पडणारे निशाचरांचे निरनिराळे आवाज ऐकायचे;अचानक एखादा प्राणी डोळ्यासमोरून जाण्याचाही अनुभव कधी कधी येतो, एक-एक टेकडी चढउतार करत निसर्गाचा आनंद घ्यायचा, अध्येमध्ये पठारावर पाठ टेकून रात्रनभाची टेहळणी करायची; असा हा अभूतपूर्व आनंद देणारा भन्नाट ट्रेक कायम स्मरणात राहतो.
