Dr. Kalmadi Shamarao High School, Ganeshnagar, was honoured by the visit of Shri Anandrao Patil, IAS, Additional Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education. The visit aimed to gain insights into the Kaveri Group of Institutes’ pioneering work in the field of Gifted and Talented Education.

During the visit, gifted students from Standards 8 and 9 shared their learning journeys and experiences from the Gifted Nurturing Program. The Atal Tinkering Lab team of KHSG, Team Zenith—comprising mentors and students—demonstrated an innovative river-cleaning solution through a working prototype. Adding a cultural dimension, Ms. Shashikala Gundlupet, along with her students from KIS Kaveri Kalaangan Talent Hub, presented “Natyaprabha”, a specially designed program for students gifted in classical Indian dance.

Shri Anandrao Patil appreciated the creativity, dedication, and excellence demonstrated by the students, mentors, and teachers, and encouraged them to continue their exceptional efforts in shaping a brighter future for the nation.

The occasion was also graced by the presence of Heads of various Kaveri Institutes, Dr. Narayan Desai, Founder of the Tribal Mensa Nurturing Program, and Dr. Milind Naik, Principal, Jnana Prabodhini Prashala.During his visit, we shared our work in the field of Gifted and Talented Education. Our students actively supported the presentation and showcased the various initiatives and activities undertaken as part of the program.

On this occasion, we presented him with the Gifted Ambassador Certificate in recognition of his valuable contribution and continued support towards the advancement of gifted education.
