Career Guidance Seminar at Government Polytechnic Pune: EBAL Innotech Guides Students Towards Career Readiness
Recognizing the rapidly changing requirements of the industrial sector and the need to provide students with the right direction at the right stage, EBAL Innotech Pvt. Ltd. organized a special Career Guidance Programme for students of the Electrical Engineering Department at Government Polytechnic Pune. The programme was attended by more than 100 students and parents, who participated enthusiastically throughout the session.
The presentation and keynote guidance were delivered by Mr. Manoj Ukhande, Director, EBAL Innotech Pvt. Ltd. and an IIT Bombay alumnus. Through an engaging and interactive session, he guided students on various career opportunities available after a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, the choice between employment and higher education, the importance of practical skills, goal setting, application of knowledge, and the need to develop multiple skills in response to evolving industry requirements.
Emphasizing the changing expectations of the workplace, Mr. Manoj Ukhande highlighted that academic performance alone is not sufficient for long-term professional success. Practical knowledge, problem-solving ability, communication skills, technological awareness, a positive attitude, adaptability and a continuous learning mindset are increasingly important for becoming a competent and industry-ready professional. Students were also encouraged to make informed decisions about employment or higher education by considering their interests, abilities, circumstances, long-term aspirations and available opportunities.
A key highlight of the programme was the active participation of parents along with students, creating a meaningful platform for interaction among students, parents, educators and industry representatives. The open interaction helped students gain greater clarity about career pathways and the competencies required to progress confidently in the professional world.
