Care Foundation - Emmanuel Public School

On Tuesday the Soroptimist International Pune Metro East conducted we a session on Mental Health during exams and tips to excel in exams for all our students from grades 7 to 10. The speaker for the session was psychologist Riti Chhibber.
It was an interactive session and the children asked many questions.

Mother - Daughter Healthcare Program -
The members of Saksham Stree Shakti gave an educative talk on female health and hygiene to our girl students and their mothers as a part of Care Foundation's Mother - Daughter healthcare initiative.
Dr. Anupama Sen and Mrs. Renu Bhardawaj were the speakers for the program.

At the end of the program each one was provided with the yearly supply of sanitary napkin packs.

The longest serving teacher of our School Mrs. Bertha Fernandes did the honours of unfurling the National Flag on the occasion of Republic Day celebration in the School.

International Day of Education -
The Soroptimist International Pune Metro East and our School observed the International Day of Education.

Theme being the SPEAK AND SHARE in 2 minutes session: WOMEN EDUCATION LEADERS AND PIONEERS IN EDUCATION IN INDIA.

Sixteen promising students of our School from grades 7 to 10 exhibited their oratory skills by presenting the lives and works of some great women educationists. They were appreciated by way of being presented certificates by the SIPME.
To top it all, their teachers Mr. Ravi Wasu, Ms. Jennifer Irani and Ms. Seema Mane, after having prepared the students well, came forward and shared their own experiences in a diligent, humourous and refreshing manner.
The whole program was a very lively session enjoyed by everybody and proved to be a pace setter for other children also who expressed their desire to become next speakers.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness month!
On Saturday, we had a very insightful, informative and a very relevant awareness session on Cervical Cancer for our girl students and their mother's, sisters and friends as a part of our Mother - Daughter healthcare initiative. The session was organised by
Soroptimist International Pune Metro East and
Dr Shubhada Deoskar was the speaker for the program - Information - action -prevention.

December Decorations 🎄🎁🎄

On 2nd December the Soroptimist International Pune Metro East organised a Dental Health and Hygiene program for our students. Dental surgeon Dr. Madhavi Jog conducted a very interactive, interesting and insightful session for the students, summarising the session with a pop up quiz.
They distributed dental hygiene kits to all the students.
