Mayuri Misra is the Founder and CEO of SHAKTISHI, a social sector consulting and training firm. A woman of substance, Mayuri Misra has worked for the Government of India, contributing in building strategic alliances for effective implementation of government policies. She has been an integral member of the team behind the legislation on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) that made India the first country to mandate and quantify CSR expenditure.

With a penchant for exploring new places while pursuing her PhD, Lena Robra moved to India from Germany in 2012. Finding her passion in cycling, she started participating often in cycling events and stood second in Bangalore Bicycle Championships. Lena is currently working for The Anonymous Indian Charitable Trust and is the Co-ordinator, Bengaluru Sustainability Forum as well as the founder and organiser of The Moving Waters Film Festival.

Ranjit Dahiya, a communication designer from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad founded the Bollywood Art Project in 2012 with an aim to brim the streets of Mumbai with the rich culture of Bollywood- in the most authentic and heartfelt form. Extremely passionate about street art and hand painted Bollywood posters, Ranjit Dahiya has been engaged in this field for over 18 years.

Let’s find out with our third speaker, Rajyashri Goody- a visual artist and an ethnographer whose research observes caste and class structure and interprets hierarchical patterns in societies.
Grounded in the principles of visual anthropology, Rajyashri Goody recently completed a Visiting Artist Fellowship at Harvard University and a residency at ISCP, New York, awarded by INLAKS.

Jaya Misra, a screenwriter, creative director and a producer ventured into the world of novel writing with her debut novel ‘K**a: The Story of K**a Sutra’- only to find out if she could write it. Surprised by the positive reception of the book, she says “The most surprising part has been that people from all age groups, right from 18 to 80, have liked the book. Even my mum and my best friend’s mother-in-law have thoroughly enjoyed the book and have given amazing reviews. So many youngsters approach me saying things like, ‘we thought it was all about s*x but it is actually all about love.’”
