We are delighted to share the achievement of Prisha Gupta, who has completed the 3rd-year (Praveshika Poorna) examination in Bharatanatyam from the prestigious Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai, securing the second-highest marks in Pune.

This accomplishment reflects her consistent dedication, disciplined training, and commitment to the art of Bharatanatyam. It also marks another significant milestone in her journey, following her achievement as the Pune Topper in the 2nd-year (Praveshika Pratham) examination conducted by the same institution last year.

We are pleased to announce the Student Council for the academic year 2026–2027. Following a transparent election process, including electronic voting and leadership assessments, the newly elected council members formally assumed their responsibilities during the Investiture Ceremony held on 30th July 2026. 

We were honoured to welcome Ms Sonal Bundele, an international archer, coach and judge, as our Guest of Honour. Her inspiring address encouraged our student leaders to embrace their new responsibilities with commitment, integrity and a strong sense of purpose.

As part of PICT Model School's commitment to environmental sustainability, Grade 12 learners participated in a Plantation Drive on Friday, 17th July 2026, along the Nande–Balewadi Road. The learners planted Rose saplings and Peepal (Sacred Fig) trees, contributing to the creation of a greener and healthier environment.

The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and inspire students to become responsible citizens. Learners enthusiastically prepared the soil, planted the saplings, and watered them, demonstrating teamwork, dedication, and a shared commitment to nature conservation.

The activity served as a valuable experiential learning opportunity, reinforcing the importance of sustainable practices and encouraging learners to take meaningful steps towards protecting the environment for future generations

On Saturday, 4th July 2026, PICT Model School, in collaboration with Study Smart, organised the University Fair 2026, providing learners and parents with an opportunity to explore diverse higher education and career pathways. A total of 39 universities and higher education institutions, 8 career counselling centres, and 2 education loan counters participated in the event.

Learners explored undergraduate programmes across a wide range of disciplines, including Engineering, Design, Liberal Arts, Law, Business Management, Architecture, Psychology, Media, Finance, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Hospitality, Health Sciences, and International Business, along with several emerging fields. Through one-to-one interactions with university representatives, learners gained insights into programmes, admission procedures, scholarships, entrance examinations, campus life, placements, and international education opportunities.

Parents also received guidance on admission processes, scholarships, overseas education opportunities, education loans, and career planning. Personalised sessions conducted by career counsellors further supported learners in identifying academic and career pathways aligned with their interests, strengths, and future aspirations.

The event witnessed an impressive footfall of 626 visitors, comprising learners, parents, and educators from PICT Model School and seven visiting schools, making the University Fair a valuable platform for informed academic and career planning.
