World Environment Day Celebration
On June 5, 2025, EuroSchool CBSE Wakad celebrated World Environment Day with tremendous enthusiasm! The highlight of the event was the inauguration of our new Medicinal Garden, featuring a diverse array of plants with remarkable healing properties. The garden was inaugurated by the Principal Gursimran Kaur Ma'am by planting sapling of medicinal plants brought by students, and other core team members followed her. This initiative was very well planned and executed by our Science department.
A special assembly was organized for students of grades 3-10, showcasing a captivating shadow puppet show based on Shel Silverstein's poignant poem "The Giving Tree". The performance effectively conveyed a powerful message about the significance of conservation and gratitude towards nature.
Additionally, a mesmerizing dance performance was presented, beautifully depicting the five elements: earth, water, air, fire, and ether, followed by a quiz.
Students of Pre-primary to grade 2 were shown videos on the significance of the day and the class teachers briefed the significance of the day.
The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and foster a deeper appreciation for the natural world. It was indeed a wonderful learning experience for our students!

EuroSchool CBSE Wakad organized D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) event today with great enthusiasm and participation. At the designated time, all activities across the campus came to a pause as students, teachers, and even Principal ma'am dropped everything they were doing and immersed themselves in reading. The entire school was transformed into a quiet and focused reading zone, creating an inspiring sight.
What made the event even more special was the involvement of senior students, who took the initiative to help the younger children with reading. They patiently narrated stories, assisted in pronunciation, and shared their love for books, fostering a wonderful spirit of mentorship and bonding. The event successfully promoted the joy of reading and highlighted the importance of making time for books in our daily lives.
