World Students’ Day is celebrated every year on the birth anniversary of former President APJ Abdul Kalam on October 15. It is celebrated to pay tribute to the selfless contribution of Kalam towards the development of education in our society. The former president was so dedicated to teaching that he went back to his teaching profession on the very next day after completing his term as the 11th President of India. Dr Kalam always encouraged his students to become the best versions of themselves. "If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L. means 'First Attempt In Learning'. End is not the end, if fact E.N.D. means 'Effort Never Dies.' If you get No as an answer, remember N.O. means 'Next Opportunity', So let's be positive," he said.

आज 'मिसाइल मैन' और पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डॉ एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम (Dr APJ Abdul Kalam) की जयंती है। डॉ कलाम का जन्म 15 अक्टूबर 1931 को हुआ था। भारत के 'मिसाइल मैन' को आज पूरा देश याद कर रहा है। देश के कल्याण के लिए डॉ कलाम ने जो योगदान दिया, उसे कभी भुलाया नहीं जा सकता। एक टीचर, वैज्ञानिक और राष्ट्रपति के रूप में एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम ने अपनी पूरी जिंदगी मेहनत और लोगों की सेवा में लगा दी थी। वह भारत के 11वें राष्ट्रपति थे। डॉ एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम के विचार आज भी लाखों युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत हैं।
