“Collaboration brings small sparks together to generate breakthrough innovation.”

Symbiosis International University (SIU) (.official), in collaboration with EURAXESS - Researchers in Motion, will host the European Union Research and Innovation Information Day tomorrow (12 February 2026) at the Symbiosis International University Noida campus. The programme will bring together scholars, diplomats, and academic leaders for a focused exchange on strengthening India–EU academic ties.

The event will highlight the evolving India–EU partnership, with particular emphasis on research collaboration, academic mobility, and funding opportunities under Horizon Europe and the Erasmus Programme.

The Keynote Address will be delivered by Mr. Pierrick Fillon-Ashida, First Counsellor at the Delegation of the European Union to India. Distinguished representatives from ten EU Member States will also participate, presenting country-specific research and innovation opportunities and engaging with participants on potential avenues for academic and institutional collaboration.

The SCES Student Think Tank is a student-led initiative under the Symbiosis Centre for European Studies (SCES), a multidisciplinary support department functioning under the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) at Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

Inaugurated in January 2019 by H.E. Mr. Andrej Babiš, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, SCES has played a key role in strengthening India–Europe engagement by enabling people-to-people collaboration with European institutions. Through academic partnerships, Erasmus+ consortia, leadership dialogues, and collaborations with leading European universities, SCES supports meaningful exchange, research, and learning.

Taking shape with renewed focus within this ecosystem, the SCES Student Think Tank brings together students interested in policy, global affairs, and research-led inquiry. It is a space for thoughtful discussion, collaboration, and steady learning, shaped by curiosity and intent.

Built on the belief that thoughtful engagement leads to meaningful outcomes, the SCES Student Think Tank continues its journey with a clear commitment to creating impact.
