Goodbyes are indeed difficult but there are always such mixed emotions as we bid adieu to our graduating batch ! The day is one of celebration too! Celebration of all the memories that we made together, a celebration of the families we met and the relationships we will cherish! Go forth with courage little ones ! Shine and lead the world by example ! Stay kind, stay joyous and filled with hope … today and always !

Come along…take a little peek into our art exhibition from this morning!
Two Indian Artists, Syed Raza and Jamini Roy formed the core of our art explorations the past few weeks. Drawing inspiration from their artworks, the children worked with warm and cool colour palettes, textures, handmade colours, symmetry and shapes to put up over 400 pieces of art this morning! Every piece was unique, each told a story of patience and imagination. We delved into pre-independent India, the world of Shantiniketan, the patachitra, Warli art, village life, process art lessons to come up with a display that overwhelmed us and the parents alike ! Nothing is impossible for our little ones , if we put our mind to it ! Isn’t it ?

A morning of celebration! Our Year 1 children put their best foot forward and we had such an enjoyable morning ! So much laughter and applause !

Going beyond the regular needs for numeracy and literacy, the focus has always been on teamwork, individual & group play, fine motor skills, teaching empathy and critical thinking, a love for tradition and culture, art education, open discussions, independent work, making decisions and choices, discovering interests, staying curious … these without doubt form the cornerstones of a healthy robust pre school environment. As educators we need to step up the game: building astute, feeling-thinking, creative humans with a strong sense of community and a refined moral compass is the need of the hour. Every day is one baby step in that direction !
