It was an honor of AGC to have such a great opportunity to interact with Dr. Neelamtai Gorhe. students had knowledge-enriching Q and A session after the lecture.

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, AGC Pune, students of DJMC visited Vidhan Sabha, Mumbai.

The motive of the field visit was to inculcate journalistic approach among students and better understanding of the important current affairs like election.

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, AGC Pune, DJMC organised guest lecture by former Assistant Commissioner of Pune, Sushma Chavhan on the topic "Protection of Women by Law in the Age of Technology" at Savarkar Hall, AGC.

Director non-grant Dr. Neha Deshpande, Vice Principal Non-grant Dr. Manisha Bharambe, Principal Dr. Vilas Ugale, HOD Dr. Nutan Kanegaonkar Kulkarni were present during the event.

Sushma Chavhan addressed serious issues related to women safety. It was an interactive session.

On the third day students of DJMC celebrated cultural day. Dr. Neha Deshpande director Non-grant, Dr. Manisha Bharambe Vice principal Non-grant, Principal Prof. Dr. Vilas Ugale were felicitated by HOD Dr. Nutan Kanegaonkar Kulkarni.

Day 2
On second day of the fest Dr. Neha Deshpande Director non grant, Principal Commerce dept Dr. Kishor Desarda and HOD DJMC Dr. Nutan Kanegaonkar Kulkarni were present for the inauguration.
Students of DJMC had organised flea market which included various games and stalls, all arranged and organised by the students. Also, flashmob ad street play was performed on the second day of the fest.

Day 1
The first day of the three-day fest started with the formal inauguration by chief guest Sanjay Awate editor Lokmat.
For second half of the program Sanjay Bhujbal senior announcer at All India Radio Pune addressed students on the topic 'Radio as an astra in today's era of Journalism'. Also, Sanjay Bhujbal felicitated students from Bvoc beauty wellness with certificates.

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, AGC Pune, Abasaheb Garware College cordially associated with Savitribai Phule Pune Vidyapeeth and organized a District level poetry recitation competition in hindi, english and marathi language.
Students of DJMC had an incredible opportunity to interact with notable poetesses, Mrs. Aruna Dhere, Dr. Neelima Gundi, and Dr. Varsha Ganjendragadkar. Students of DJMC worked as a media team for the event.

The event was inaugurated at Svatantryaveer Savarkar Hall at AGC. Prof. Sadanand Bhosale,Principal Prof. Dr. Vilas Ugale, HOD Marathi dept Dr. Varsha Todmal were also present during the event.

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, AGC Pune, students of DJMC participated in Intercollegiate Street Play Competition at Firodiya Law college and secured second position.

Students were awarded with award, certificates and cash prize. 12 students from the department participated in the competition and performed play titled 'Kuch Kehte Hain (कुछ कहते हैं)'. Also, the play was written and directed by SY student Sushil Gavhane.
It is proud moment for DJMC and we congratulate the students for their win.
