Six sigma solutions is a training and consultancy firm which provides various training related to Six sigma , We also do the project consultancy for the manufacturing and service related companies. Started in Sept-15 , we have done various Six sigma trainings - Awareness , Yellow , Green and Black belt . We also provide the project consultancy after the training. We have completed various assignment related to process improvements in few of the MNC companies in Pune.
SIX SIGMA IN MANUFACTURING
Six sigma in manufacturing can be used to improve Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY) , It is also used to reduce DPMO (improve Sigma level).
For machining operations it is used to reduce the operations scrap and reject. Cycle time of the operations can be reduced thereby improving production capacity by using Six sigma tools. In assembly operations Six sigma can be used to reduce defects , develop Poka – yoke to improve controls. Variation can be reduced using standardization of manual activites. SMED techniques can be used to reduce set-up time.
Tools like DOE can be effectively used to optimize machine parameters and optimize the output. Some tools like QFD , validation of design and production processes to meet customer requirement.
