*Palkhi Celebration*

Sinhgad City School celebrated the Palkhi Festival with great enthusiasm and cultural reverence. Rooted in Maharashtra’s rich heritage, the Palkhi celebration honours the Warkari tradition, where devotees embark on a spiritual journey in praise of Lord Vitthal.

Our celebration began with a vibrant procession, where students dressed as Warkaris, carrying beautifully decorated palkhis, chanted devotional songs and bhajans.
The event beautifully blended tradition with education, leaving a lasting impression on the young minds.

*Students Council Election 25-26*
Sinhagad city school,Kondhwa conducted students council election to select the school pupil leader for both boys and girls on 23rd June, 2025. to promote democratic principle and empower students to take on leadership roles within the school community.
The students participated in the voting process to elect their representative each students had the chance to cast their vote for the candidate they believed would best serve their house.
The students council elections at SCS where a success providing students with a platform to exercise their democratic rights and engage in the leadership process.

With immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility, our school hosted its Investiture Ceremony on 1st July, Tuesday,2025 marking a significant milestone in the journey of our young leaders.

The ceremony began with a solemn march past, where our newly elected student council, donned in their sashes and badges, took their positions with confidence and dignity.

Each member of the council pledged to uphold the values of the school and lead with honesty, integrity, and commitment. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm.

The Principal, in her address, emphasized the importance of responsibility, teamwork, and discipline, urging the council to be role models.

It was truly a memorable day, filled with emotions, aspirations, and dreams taking flight. We are confident that our student leaders will rise to every challenge and carry forward the legacy of excellence.

On 5 th June 2025, our school celebrated "World Environment Day" with great enthusiasm and commitment to promote environment awareness.

The event of the day was *the tree planting activity*

The celebration started with an introductory speech by our principal , * madam and supervisor madam, who highlighted the significance of World Environment Day and the need for everyone to take action to protect our planet , emphasizing and stressing the importance of plantation.

After the speech , the tree planting session began. Classes from 1 to 10 , were assigned a designated area around the school to plant various species of saplings both , flowering and medicinal plants.🪴
Teachers, maushi and our school gardener guided the students on how to plant and care for the saplings, ensuring that they would grow strong and healthy. 🌿
The event was more than just planting trees, it was a hands - on learning experience.
The event was a success, with over 50 trees planted.
