🇮🇳 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS 🇮🇳

Pride English School celebrated Independence Day with great pomp and patriotic fervour.

The celebration began with a Guard of Honour to welcome the dignitaries, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by our esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Parag Potdar, along with Mr. Nemichand Solanki, Mr. Vilasrao Bhange, and Mr. Akash Wadghare.

The March Past was performed by the girls of Pride English School and Chintamani Dnyanpeeth, showcasing discipline, confidence and patriotic spirit. Our Head Boy, Master Shreyas Kapse, delivered a thoughtful speech reflecting the love, dreams and aspirations of young minds for their nation.

The inspiring words of our honourable Chief Guest filled the students with motivation and pride.

The atmosphere resonated with patriotism through a vibrant presentation of patriotic songs, dances, Lathi-Kathi and Mallakhamb, making the celebration truly memorable.

The programme beautifully reminded everyone that the spirit of freedom lives on through the dreams, values and responsibilities of our young generation. 🇮🇳✨

DEEP POOJAN & INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY CELEBRATION 🌟

Pride English School celebrated Deep Poojan and International Youth Day with great enthusiasm, creativity and inspiration on Wednesday, 12th August 2026. ✨

🪔 Deep Poojan was conducted in all classes, spreading the warmth of knowledge, positivity and hope.

🌟 Inspirational Youth Personalities: Students of Std. 8 enthusiastically dressed up as inspiring youth personalities and shared their achievements, journeys and contributions.

💌 Letters to Self: Students of Std. 8, 9 & 10 penned thoughtful letters to their younger and future selves, reflecting on their dreams, career aspirations and goals. They also participated in a creative “Catchy Lines” writing activity.

🎤 An Inspiring Session: The celebration was enriched by an inspiring interaction with Mr. Viraj Khatavkar, a dynamic Sculptor, Design Strategist and Creative Technologist, who shared his inspiring career journey and encouraged students to think creatively, dream fearlessly and pursue their passions.

Our little champ Pranav Nikhil Jagdale, a student of Sr. KG, has made us proud by winning a Bronze Medal 🥉 at the District-Level Mallakhamb Tournament organised as part of Vinayaki Krida Mahotsav 2026, held in Pune.

Friendship in a Novel Way: We Are a Part of Nature, Not Apart

Ahead of Friendship Day, Pride English School celebrated friendship in a unique and meaningful way by fostering compassion towards animals and birds.

Animal communicator and rescuer Mrs. Nima Sharma, an IITian by profession, conducted an enlightening and interactive session for the students. She spoke about protecting animals and birds, understanding their communication, and building a deeper connection with nature.

The session became even more enriching as students enthusiastically shared their own experiences and expressed their love and care for animals and birds.

The celebration beautifully conveyed the message that friendship extends beyond humans — we are a part of nature, not apart from it.

“A guru is the light that removes the darkness of ignorance.”

Pride English School celebrated Guru Purnima with devotion and enthusiasm. The programme began with the worship of Maharishi Ved Vyasa and Shree Gurudev Datta, followed by a soulful song by the primary students, dance performances by the higher secondary students, an inspiring speech, and skits on Dronacharya–Eklavya and Rishi Durvasa–Kunti. The celebration concluded with a token of love presented to our respected Principal, Mrs. Sharmila Pande, and appreciation for all the teachers and students.

Guru Purnima is celebrated to honour gurus, teachers, and mentors for guiding us with knowledge and wisdom. Dedicated to Maharishi Ved Vyasa, the compiler of the Vedas and author of the Mahabharata, the festival is also known as Vyasa Purnima.

Lokmanya Tilak Jayanti Celebration

Lokmanya Tilak Jayanti was observed on 23rd July to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, popularly known as the “Maker of Modern India.”

On this occasion, the students of Pride English School delivered inspiring speeches highlighting Tilak’s vision of Swaraj (self-rule) and Swadeshi (self-reliance). They also expressed their patriotism through meaningful slogans and creative drawings that reflected unity, responsibility, and love for the nation.

Students enthusiastically participated in essay writing, exploring Tilak’s remarkable legacy and gaining a deeper understanding of his values of courage, journalism, and patriotism.

Pre-primary students of Pride English School celebrated a "Rainy Day Activity" to explore the monsoon season through sensory play, crafts, and interactive learning. Children came to school in colorful raincoats and with umbrellas, engaging in hands-on experiences like making paper boats and singing classic rain rhymes.

The Pre-Primary “Corn Bhel” Activity gave our tiny tots a fun-filled, hands-on experience in preparing a healthy, no-fire snack. Dressed in adorable chef hats and aprons, the children enthusiastically mixed sweet corn with freshly chopped vegetables to create their own delicious corn bhel. The activity not only brought smiles and excitement but also encouraged sensory exploration, enhanced fine motor skills, and promoted healthy eating habits. It was a delightful learning experience that combined creativity, nutrition, and fun in the most engaging way.
