P. S. Lovely work being done by our volunteers for our campaign for relief for Amphan Cyclone Victims.

Students launch campaign to raise funds for victims of Cyclone Amphan in West Bengal 18/06/2020

We realize that the crowdfunded campaign should formalize itself in order to reach out to as many people as possible. Thus we have come up with this platform where you can simply go and contribute for the campaign. The link largely has all details about the campaign and the previous round of fundraiser.

The Amphan Cyclone victims and women in the affected areas are not receiving much help yet. They need our attention to survive until sufficient formal help reaches from local and central governments.

People can still continue to contribute simply by Gpay on 9822033955. If you prefer any other method and don't want to contribute on the link below, you can contribute by filling out this form - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc0KX-fqa8B8L10GVhq-zKGaYwRwnPHAimIDhCEDQdgn1rDlA/viewform

Please contribute by any of these above-mentioned methods. Similar to the previous round of fundraiser, we'll send across pictures of work done and audit of transitions to our donors.

Regards,
Bhargav Bhamidipati

Students launch campaign to raise funds for victims of Cyclone Amphan in West Bengal Amphan Cyclone has left many with no agency and relief whatsoever. Our experiences in the first fundraiser and relief campaign show clearly that they need your urgent attention!

Hi guys!!

As you know I had, along with Reachout India, NSUI and Pune Student Association, fundraised for relief package for Amphan Cyclone Victims. We successfully reached out to rural areas near Kolkata as well as certain other affected areas. We were able to provide relief material worth more than Rs. 40,000 with the fundraiser as well as our partner organisations. The relief package consisted of dry ration kits, glucose, and menstrual health kits.

We stationed our relief material at a primary school in Baghbazar, Kolkata. Our local volunteers reached out to people in highly challenging circumstances. We delivered the relief where it was not possible for them to collect it. The pictures are a few which were taken to document the campaign for our generous donors (Apologies for the spam with a lot of pictures)

We are realising that though our partner organisations and donors spent generously, we havent been able to continue the help. I personally wish to continue the relief till certain minimum help reaches them and situation normalizes. I would request you to repeat your donation if you can. If you had not donated previously please do so now. This initiative largely depends on this personal fundraiser. Reachout India also is trying to continue the fundraiser from their end and we feel the campaign for relief must continue to reach people.

For contributing pls fill the following google form or contact me personally on the number given below.
