⛪Infant Jesus High School, Wakad⛪ organised a field trip on 24th & 25th March 2022 for 9th A & B Students. Around 139 Students accompanied by 3 Teachers & Principal ma'am.The Field Trip was destined to Panchagani.
Students were asked to reach school by 6.00 am and the trip started at at around 7.00 am in the bus.
Bus moved towards the first destination 'Rajputi Village in Panchgani.The motto of taking students to the village was to show the life of the village, means How they live, how they do there livelihood, there daily routine, difference in city house and village house.After reaching the Students were asked to speak to the localities and gather information of the village and about the way of living.Also they were shown a 100 year old houses in the village.
Next Students were taken to the Rajpuri Caves Also know for the Kartik Swami Idol there which was discovered by British Governor H.R.Coock in 1885.Students were asked to enter the Caves and write down the experience of the cave and what actually they can see in the caves.
After the Caves visit the Students were take to the 2nd largest Plateau in the world which is situated next to Rajpuri village.View from the top was mesmerizing.
After the exciting, informative and a exhausting day of was time to freshen up.All the students were taken to the Resort named Tent House Panchagani.All the students were asked to keep there bags near. The most exciting part came now swimming resort had a swimming pool, students jumped in the pool they got relaxed and they played and enjoyed with there friends.
After this Tea Break was there and all students were taken for a evening walk.All students were taken from the field and were shown various crops, fruits, Vegetables cultivation.Then they were taken to sunset point.Here students enjoyed there quality time with friends with selfies, singing, some sitting quietly and observing the sunset.This moment was pure and purity of heart of students can be seen in this moment.
After the sunset all Students were taken to Resort back were all students were allocated with Tents.After settling down time for dinner with dinner students played games like damsharas, some kids aslo showed there group dance.some cracked jokes and after that all students after a long exhausting, enjoyable day went for the sleep.
Next morning with a boosted energy, excitement students get up from the bed freshen up and had breakfast for the next adventure.Studengs were taken for the Wheat Field were they were explained about the wheat cultivation.Also they were given first hand experience of cutting the wheat crop.After this they were taken to Strawberry farm were they explained about the strawberry farming as well shown how to pluck the strawberry from the field.Each kid was given a box in hand and were asked to go in the field and start plucking and gathering the strawberry.Students enjoyed the time plucking & eating strawberries. After this activity they were shown the farm of gooseberry, mulberry, etc
Passion Fruit. Students were also explained about the struggle and hardwork done by the Farmers.
Now it was time to come to the end of the trip. Students were taken back to resort, Students ate the lunch and were asked to go the bus.By seeing face we can say that they were not in a mood going home. With heavy heart they seated in the bus and bus was now on the way home.
After reaching School parents were eagerly waiting for there kids.Parents were happy to see there Kids.With heavy heart everyone said Good bye to each other.
After a long two year covid break this was the first Field Trip of two days for which everyone was thankful.

"The best view ces after the Hardest Climb"
This thrill of climb was experienced by the ⛪INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL, WAKAD⛪students
On 18th February 2022 were 8th A & B students were the part of schools first trek cm Study Tour for after lockdown to historical places Lohagad (Lonavala) & Caves of Bedse(which is a cave before Gautam buddha).
On the morning of 18th March, students had reported at 6.15 am in school as they were told. By 6.45am bus has left school.
Students had their breakfast in the bus when bus had passed Dehu Road Cantonment. In bus students were enjoying singing games with their friends.
Buses reach to base of Lohagad where which was the starting point of the trek. Students were given instructions from the Experts and teachers about the trek. Around 9.00am students had started the trek to Lohagad fort.
In between students had enjoyed the view in the middle of the Trek and in between they were explained about the 3 Doors (The doors are named as "Ganesh Darwaja", "Narayan Darwaja", "Hanuman Darwaja" and "Maha Darwaja". ("Darwaja" is a Marathi word for "Door" or "Gate"), then about the inscription on the rock, also about the cannons on the lohagad.
Everyone reached lohagad top at around 10.30am. Students gathered together and experts gave information about the fort to everyone. They explained that why that fort was named as “Lohagad fort”? What was its special qualities? How great “Maratha Warriors “were defending themselves. Students enjoyed an exciting and beautiful view of Pawana Dam from Lohagad.
Around 12.00pm students had started to return to base point.At the base of the lohagad students had there lunch and everyone get into bus by 1.30 pm to head towards the next place BIDSE CAVES.
Around a Hour drive we reached Bidse caves.It was a 45 minutes 455 steps treak to reach Caves.
After reaching there students were explained the historical story of the caves .Students were amazed to see the carving done inside the mountain and were in the question how they must have they done in that era.
After that we started to treak down at around 4.30 pm
And. By 5.15 we headed towards pune.
We reached the School by Around 6.30pm.
Students were happy to see the historical places and were happy to go out with their friends after a two years of gap.
We have achieved the main motto that "everyone should enjoy".

“Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes and cooking. It’s harnessing imagination, empowerment and creativity.”

Cooking can happen even without the fire. A “Fireless cooking compe” was conducted for students for Standard 1st A & B at ⛪INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL, WAKAD ⛪. Our students prepared yummy lip smacking items like Sev puri, Variety of Sandwiches, Bhel, Biscuit treat, Juices etc and showcase thier talent & creativity in fireless Cooking. Our kids really amazed us!!

⛪INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL, Wakad⛪students of class 2nd A & B participated in the “Fruit & Vegetable Art ” competition which was held online. It was an art of creating amazing or unusual carving of fruit and vegetables.It was pleasure to watch the children's creativity through the Art of carving.

An online Salad Decoration Competition named as EAT WITH COLOURS was organised for the class 3rd A & B by ⛪INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL, WAKAD ⛪

The objective behind the competition was to inculcate healthy food habits and awareness regarding the choice of food among this generation.

The participants' creativity was revealed through the beautiful designs and patterns formed using different fruits and vegetables.

The main focus of the competition was not only the preparation of salads but also upon their aesthetic aspect.

Pot Decoration Competition students of class 4th A & B used pots and diyas all shapes and sizes, and painted them . The concepts, creativity and ideas used by the little kids is commendable and admirable.
The students enjoyed and did the artwork very enthusiastically. This activity will surely boost their confidence, creativity and interest in art.

In an initiative to generate the habit of using old things to create beautiful crafts among-st children, a concept which has global significance, a 'best out of waste competition' was recently organized at ⛪INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL,WAKAD.⛪

STD 6th A & B Students were asked to show there creativity by using waste Plastic Bottles.
It was a learning experience for all, the competition promoted creativity and artistic excellence in our leaders of tomorrow.

Creativity is making Marvelous Out of the Discarded!!!

In today’s world recycling has a very important place. There are a lot of things around that are labeled as dump. But the irony is that most of the dump collected is useful for others, if recycled.

In order to make students aware of the uses of waste material and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future ‘Best out of Waste’ activity was organised at ⛪INFANT JESUS HIGH SCHOOL,WAKAD ⛪ of the students of Grade 5 th A & B. It explored and encouraged creativity in children and offered them a platform to showcase their skill. It also inspired children to think and work creatively and promote artistic excellence.

⛪Infant Jesus High School, Wakad⛪The students of classes 7th A & B participated in ‘Best out of Waste’ competition. The objective of the competition was to create love for environment by making best out of waste with help of recyclable things.

The competition was open to all students the of class 7 th A & B. They used their imagination and creativity to make innovative things.
