"Energy" - The Science Club initiative
Science Day was celebrated at MITWPU School of Education, orchestrated by the dynamic Science Club- 'Energy'. Students from the science club curated engaging science-based games for all attendees. These games were designed to illustrate scientific principles such as inertia, buoyancy, force, mental acuity, gravity, speed-distance, and more, all under the expert guidance of Assistant Professor Prachee Somvanshi. These activities aimed to foster a deeper understanding and hands-on experience of scientific facts and theories through interactive play. Both students and faculty thoroughly relished the immersive learning experience.

In a festive spirit, MITWPU recently marked its Traditional Day. Students and faculty adorned traditional attire, showcasing the rich diversity of cultures on campus. The highlight of the day was a sumptuous traditional lunch, bringing together the college community in a shared celebration of heritage and unity.

The staff and students of the School of Education, MIT WPU, Celebrated Road Safety Week.
As a part of the Social Club activity, Dr. Sachin Sakhare, Dr. Yashpal Netragaonkar, Dr. Vandana Kenjale, and Asst. Prof. Priya Kale initiated the rally in which students upheld the importance of following Road Safety Rules through the slogans and spread awareness of Road Safety among the people around the Kothrud area.
Dr. Archana Chaudhari, Program Director of the School of Education, MIT WPU supported this activity.

Learning resources are the backbone of the teaching-learning process. Teaching is incomplete without learning resources. Though we have shifted to advanced learning resources, traditional Learning resources still carry their own importance. Keeping this in mind, the School of Education offered a value-added course on "Creating Traditional Learning Resources".
The students prepared 2D and 3D learning resources including 2D folders, Folding files, and Magic files for all school subjects. Students learned various techniques for making and presenting learning resources to cater to the various needs of the learner. Asst. Prof. Jyoti Tekale was the resource person for this course.

Sound Body and sound Mind are the key ingredients of well-being. Keeping this in mind Trekking activity was planned by the School of Education, MIT - WPU in collaboration with Nisargavedh. Faculty and students of the Department of Education MIT-WPU went for the Trek to Raireshwar Fort (Bhor). Raireshwar is known for a famous temple which is very old and of stone structure, but it was later re-constructed in the 18th century. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj took the oath of Hindavi Swarajya in this temple at the age of 16 in 1645 in this Temple.
Necklace Point, Suspension Bridge, Kenjalgadh, Gomukh Lake, and Nakhinda (also known as Aswal Lake) were the main attraction points of this trek. One more geological wonder about Raireshwar Fort isit has seven colors of soil on the plateau.
