We are excited to announce that Global Academix has shifted to a brand-new space!
Here's a sneak-peek at our state-of-the art concept-based experiential learning centre, recently opened at Uday Baug, Pune.
With a fully equipped library and a self-study space, Global Academix provides a place where students can make meaning out of their learning - they are encouraged to ask questions and find expression for their understanding; where peer learning and interaction is encouraged, concepts are internalized and consolidated through discussions, guided and practice worksheets, assessments, and use of other learning aids.
We offer a range of services from mentoring students to professional development programs for teachers, resource and content development, parenting workshops and traineeship for teachers.
We would love to meet with fellow educators, students and parents who resonate with the concept and would like to be associated with us.

There is no rule book for parenting. Each parent-child relationship is unique, with a common denominator of love and nurturing. We want the best for our children and are sometimes overzealous about it. The Positive Parenting workshop talks about the pitfalls of parenting, and how we sometimes stand as obstacles in our children’s growth path, knowingly or unknowingly. We will also discuss strategies and styles that have been proved to aid in successful parenting. And of course, there will be activities, discussions, and takeaways to help you continue having a positive impact on your children.

We are glad to announce an interactive seminar on Growth Mindset this Sunday. All to do is register yourself by following this link: https://forms.gle/RdgpWaFV9H8WsTCNA
The concept of growth mindset was established by psychologist Carol Dweck. Dweck explains that a mindset is a theory that people hold about themselves. Our mindsets profoundly impact learning, achievement, relationships, and overall success and well-being. Dweck’s research centers on the distinction between “fixed mindset” and “growth mindset.”
Our workshop brings you tools by which you can embrace the growth mindset in your life, and help manifest it in the lives of your children and students. Having a growth mindset paves the way for perseverance, effort, problem-solving skills, community building, and achieving your goals.

“The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the threshold of your mind.” – Khalil Gibran

Education should be related to real life – it should help one evolve, become a better human being and use the skills acquired to lead a better, more fulfilling life. There should not be any disconnect between classroom learning and the world outside. Learning should be holistic, meaningful and fun, but above everything else, students should love to learn. It is our job as educators and facilitators to create that awe and drive for students to strive towards becoming better human beings.
We, at GlobalAcademix, believe that Education should help bridge the gap. For example, students study about gears in school, but if the bicycle needs repairs, they go to the repair guy. That guy has probably never gone to college, but he knows how to work with gears not due to theory learnt but due to skill acquired due to practice. This gap between theory and practical should ideally be bridged through education.
Another very important aspect is what we expect from education. Most students that we spoke to said that we study because we want to earn – that is the relevance of education.
My question is are we preparing children to be able to learn to earn while they are studying. Are we imparting the right skills for them to learn handling money? We keep them away from commercial matters till they complete their studies. So the children are not interested in the learning process because they do not see the relevance of the curriculum in helping them earn. What are we doing about this?
Another issue is that the children spend too much time going for tuitions and cramming facts to ace the exams. Where is the time for them to think, to reflect, to analyse and apply? We, as parents, apply too much pressure on them to perform better in terms of getting better grades or marks. Understanding is not part of the deal most of the time.
We have to prepare children for an unforeseen future, for jobs and technologies that do not exist yet. And have we not seen this? Were we ready for online school education? No! And those who could adapt, evolve, and embrace change and technology have been able to cope up with the situation. These are the skills that I am talking about, which should be an important part of our education process, whereas what we are focusing on is memorizing a few, no, a lot of facts which are any way freely available. There is a need to develop the 4 C’s – which people have been talking about as the 21st-century skills, but I feel they have been needed forever.
These are the issues and concerns that we wish to address and incorporate in our endeavour towards education.
