Our students kicked off an exciting journey with the Jumpstart Event for our latest module, "The Conscious Closet โ€“ Choices That Shape Our Planet." This immersive theme is designed to transform our young learners from passive consumers into thoughtful, eco-conscious decision-makers.
Through a series of engaging, hands-on activities, our students explored the environmental impact of their everyday clothing choices:
My Favourite Outfit Is: Students expressed their personal styles and clothing habits using colorful charts and post-its.
Thumbprint Promise Chart: A collective commitment where students placed their thumbprints to promise they will reuse, not waste, and donate clothes.
"One Change I Can Make to Save Our Planet" Wall: Creative brainstorming on practical ways to help the Earth, like repeating outfits and buying less.
Future of Clothing Options: Our secondary students cast their votes using stickers to advocate for eco-friendly fabrics, durable clothing, and clothing swaps.
