Words are made up of small units of sounds called phonemes.phonics is a science of learning phonics. Phonics is the science of learning various phonemes in words helping them read word at appropriate pace and give them the ability to decode and spell word they havent seen before .Phonics enhances the knowledge and skill for reading and spellings. This knowledge of sounds will help them in decoding

words effectively they havent seen before. Since the turn of the 20th century phonics has been widely used in primary education and in teaching literacy throughout the English-speaking world. More specifically synthetic phonics is now the accepted method of teaching reading in the education system.Phonics World uses this child centred approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. With actions for each of the 42 letter sounds, the multi sensory method is very motivating for children .Phonics world provides a variety of resources that reflect this eclectic approach to teaching phonics.
