At Canary we endeavour a holistic development for our students. Our young students of grade 8 participated in the “Women’s day Celebration” wherein they were educated about the significance of 8th March – International Women’s Day . They were informed about its inception in 1909 in New York City, its spread to Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland and finally its recognition by the United Nations in the year 1975; followed by the UN observing a holiday on 8th March along with connecting a particular issue, campaign, or theme (2022- Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow) in women's rights to this particular day.
