Birds seem to be just about everywhere you look. Their cheerful chirping in the mornings and nesting habits in the spring are just a
couple of our favourite things about learning about birds.
What makes birds very different from other animals ?
Is it the fact that birds have wings and can fly around. Birds fascinate children. So with pollution down and not traffic on the road...lots of birds can be seen in the sky ..how about identifying birds with your child. Could you spy the cuckoo, crow, pigeon , sparrow, parrots, hens…well well listen carefully and see which all bird sounds you can hear…
As the children listen …they have to stay quiet and observe …a superb way to pass time and reduce restlessness BIRD WATCHING …a hobby for life.

All birds have feathers and birds are the only animals that do! Feathers do many jobs for birds. Soft down keeps them warm, wing feathers allow flight and ail feathers are used for steering.

Children are fascinated with Flowers .If a flower is fun to touch, smells interesting, makes a particular sound, is beautifully coloured or has an interesting flavour, the children will be captivated .

It is hot and summer is here but even in this weather some flowers are blooming. Look around you and you will see Marigolds, Hibiscus, Gulmohur (Royal Poinciana), Bougainvillea and of course Roses. Why not use time to identify the colours of the flowers in bloom all around you and maybe plant a few seedlings of plants. Today we share fun activities with flowers for you and your child
