Choosing a name for your baby is no easy task in Germany.
The Civic Registry officials in Germany approve every name that goes on a birth certificate. If the name is deemed inappropriate then the parents are asked to choose a different name.

The German National Bakers Academy in Weinheim maintains an official German Bread Register. According to this register there are more than 3000 varieties of bread produced by bakeries from all over Germany.

Did you know that German beer is brewed according to the 'Reinheitsgebot' known as the 'German Beer Purity Law' or the 'Bavarian Purity Law' in English? 🍻
