Industrial Visit to Carraro India Ltd.

The MBA students of S. B. Patil Institute of Management had an enriching industrial visit to Carraro India Ltd. on May 13, 2026. The visit provided valuable insights into manufacturing operations, industry practices, supply chain management, and corporate work culture.

During the visit, students gained first-hand exposure to real-time industrial processes, modern manufacturing systems, quality control practices, and organizational management. Interacting with industry experts helped students understand how management concepts are practically implemented in a corporate environment. The visit also enhanced students’ understanding of teamwork, operational efficiency, leadership, and workplace discipline.

Students had the opportunity to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical industry exposure through expert guidance and interactive sessions at the company. The experience inspired students to explore industry expectations, career opportunities, and the importance of innovation and continuous improvement in the manufacturing sector.

We extend our special thanks to Mr. Sudhendra Mannikar, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Mrs. Mamta Bakshi, Director of HR, Leadership & Culture at Carraro India for their valuable guidance and support. The college years are a phase when one learns to distinguish between right and wrong, good and bad. During this time, it is important to believe in oneself and make decisions confidently. To achieve one’s goals, one must gain control over the mind and take thoughtful decisions. To keep this restless mind healthy and strong, students should nurture at least one art or hobby they enjoy and dedicate time to it. Whatever you do, do it with full dedication—success will surely follow, advised young actor Atul Kudale to the students.

The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony “Zing 2026” was held at the S. B. Patil Institute of Management under the guidance of our Honorable PCET's Trustees — Shri. Dnyaneshwar P. Landge (Chairman), Smt. Padmatai M. Bhosale (Vice-Chairperson), Shri. Vitthal S. Kalbhor (Secretary), Shri. Shantaram D. Garade (Treasurer), Shri. Harshwardhan S. Patil (Trustee), Shri. Narendra Landge (Entrepreneur), Shri. Ajinkya Kalbhor (Entrepreneur) & Dr. Girish Desai (Executive Director PCET).

Director Dr. Kirti Dharwadkar addresses the students of the institute have won prizes in various inter-collegiate competitions and have also demonstrated excellent academic performance. Many students have secured placements in reputed companies, thereby enhancing the institution’s reputation.

On this occasion, students who achieved remarkable success in academics, cultural activities, sports, and placements were felicitated.

His leadership in the historic Battle of Haldighati stands as a testament to his bravery and determination. Maharana Pratap’s life continues to inspire generations to uphold honor, independence, and resilience in the face of adversity.

On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, we honor the unwavering commitment of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement in serving humanity with compassion and neutrality.

This day marks the birth anniversary of Henry Dunant, whose vision laid the foundation for one of the world’s largest humanitarian networks. From disaster relief and emergency response to healthcare and community support, the Red Cross continues to stand as a symbol of hope and humanity in times of crisis.

It reminds us of the power of kindness, voluntary service, and our collective responsibility to support those in need.

SBPIM successfully organized an Industrial Visit to JCB India on 8th April 2026 for MBA Semester II students, aimed at strengthening the connection between academic learning and real-world industry practices.

The visit offered students a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insights into world-class manufacturing processes, advanced technologies, and structured HR practices. Experiencing JCB India’s commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence provided meaningful learning and inspiration for aspiring management professionals.
