SEBI Final Order Against Kalahridhaan Trendz Limited | The regulatory body found that the company committed several serious violations, including failing to report loan defaults to HDFC Bank and issuing false corporate announcements regarding fictitious business orders from Bangladesh. These misleading claims were allegedly designed to manipulate stock volume and deceive the investing public into believing the firm was more profitable than it was. Furthermore, the company was cited for governance failures, such as neglecting to appoint a required compliance officer and misrepresenting the independence of a board member. Consequently, SEBI has restricted the noticees from participating in the securities market to protect investor interests. While the company representatives argued these were unintentional procedural lapses, the regulatory findings suggest a pattern of fraudulent and unfair trade practices.
