On May 16, 2026, the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) held its 20th Annual Convocation. This year 130 students from the PGDM (Banking & Financial Services) Batch of 2024–26 graduated successfully.
The occasion became even more memorable and special to the Institute and the graduating students with Dr. P. K. Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India, gracing the event and Shri Sanjay Malhotra, Honourable Governor, Reserve Bank of India and Chairman, NIBM Governing Board, presenting the degrees to the graduating students.
Prof. Partha Ray, Director, NIBM and Dr. Arindam Bandyopadhyay, Dean Academics were joined by dignitaries from the banking and finance fraternity, parents of graduating students, and faculty.
The highlight of the ceremony was the palpable enthusiasm of the students. From classroom learning to last-minute submissions to lifelong friendships, this was the day where their efforts and dedication came to fruition.
Today, as they step into the world of banking and finance, NIBM congratulates the graduating students and entrusts them with nation building and working towards the goal of Viksit Bharat.

National Institute of Bank Management (PGDM)

16th May, 2026, the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) marked the inauguration of the new Academic Block at the hands of Shri Sanjay Malhotra, Hon’ble Governor of RBI and Chairman of the Governing Board of the NIBM who had also laid the foundation stone a year earlier.
Readied within a year, the newly-built Academic has four smart classrooms with state-of-the-art facilities and is entirely accessibility-friendly for differently-abled persons.
The PGDM (Banking & Financial Services) will officially commence its classes from the new block starting with the 2026-28 academic year.
