Наконец готов первый выпуск подкаста, который, я надеюсь, будет выходить регулярно и на нескольких площадках.

A teacher, Beliaeva Rakhil Eduardovna, from St. Petersburg university, conducted two block seminars on the topics Лингвострановедение, Русский Речевой Этикет for our Russian section students (3rd November to 14th November 2025). The classes were mostly conducted in offline mode and held at Ranade institute, Dept of Foreign languages, SPPU. Students enjoyed the classes and got acquainted with the Russian culture and etiquettes.

Our Russian section, coordinator, Dr. Anagha Bhat-Behere received award Dostoevsky star for her contribution to Russian language and literature. Madam received the award at the hands of Dostoevsky's Great Grandson.

Level 1 and 2 students of the Russian section completed Козьма Минин university’s 4-week course of Introduction to Russian culture. Classes were held in mixed mode at Dept of Foreign Languages, SPPU in October 2025. Students participated in a Russian salad marking activity.

🌟 Celebrating Creativity & Culture at the Department of Foreign Languages! 🌟
On 8th September 2025, our department proudly hosted two vibrant competitions:
🖋️ Poetry Recitation (Russian Poets) – Students recited timeless works of Pushkin, Lermontov, Esenin, and others, bringing Russian literature to life with passion and expression.
🎨 Poster Making – With the theme “Monuments of Russia”, participants showcased their imagination and artistic skills while exploring Russian culture.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 13th September 2025, graced by our esteemed Guest of Honor, Mr. Viktor Gorelykh, Director of Russian Culture Center, Mumbai, who felicitated the winners and inspired students with his presence. 🙏
🏆 Congratulations to all our winners and participants! Your creativity and enthusiasm made this event a resounding success, strengthening the cultural bridge between India and Russia.

Курсы - повышения квалификации для преподавателей русского языка: Teachers of Russian section Department of Foreign Languages, SPPU, Pune attended two weeks summer school for Russian language teachers. The programme “Русский язык и литература в школе и в вузе: специфика преподавания билингвам и инофонам” was organized by Russkiy Mir, Rossotrudnichestvo and committee for foreign relations of St. Peterburg, in St. Peterburg, Russia

Visit by Consul general of Russian Federation to the department.
His Excellency Fetisov Ivan Yurievitch visited the Department of Foreign Languages, SPPU today. The head of the dept Dr. Ujjwala Joglekar and Russian section co-ordinator Dr. Anagha Bhat welcomed His Excellency and briefed him about Russian language teaching and the dept.

Our students arrived at the university RUDN , Moscow

New batch begins ( Russian level 1)

Students of Russian section are participating in the summer school in Moscow. It is organized by RUDN university (From 14th July to 25th July 2025).
An induction programme for them was conducted on 11th July.
13 students will be participating in the summer school. This is happening under the MoU signed between SPPU and RUDN.
