Designing a Prom dress- was a phenomenal experience for the IID’ians.
Students designed their prom dresses in the workshop based on a certain theme and concept.
The designed made had a wide variety of corsets, gowns, one pieces, with variety of fabrics given a thought to!
Yet another learning experience for the students!

Transformation of forms!

After the basics of lines types are explored, students draw varied line types on paper …
Next step is to use paper to convert the 2d shapes(varied line types) into 3d form.
This helps in better visualisation, better understanding of 2d and 3d, shapes and forms!
We at make sure that each month students explore varied materials via workshops!
Varied creative fields are introduced to them.

We had an yet amazing workshop at IID yesterday!
We believe that students understand and grasp better by implementing the theory through creative processes. Based on this idea, we make sure that IID’ians are exposed to varied materials, fields, professions in the creative field by the medium of monthly workshops!
An extremely creative paper based exercise on principles of design.

We had an amazing workshop at Ideaa Institute of Design by Mumbai.
Students explored the visionary board, basics of how to create, imagine, understand and come up with the board. It was a time problem after which students came up with interesting boards with the theme of Moon, Mars and Bali!

Wall art expression by IID’ians!!

A big wall of our studio at Mayur colony was conceptualised, ideated and executed by the students.

A theme of minions was decided upon, drawn and painted!
Use of acrylic colours, wall paints was done.
The process of colour application, layering , colour mixing was thus learnt.

We at IID, make sure to expose our students to varied creative fields.
As a part of curriculum at IID , we organise various creative workshops every month .

IID in association with , conducted a workshop on Logo Design and Mascot Design.
The students explored various ways of designing a mascot , explored varied ways of showing, sketching , depicting expressions.
The workshop was very insightful as students came up with very creative sketches and mascots!
