Burnout happens when you are overburdened, emotionally exhausted, and unable to meet constant demands.
As the stress mounts, you begin to lose interest and motivation for taking on a particular role in the first place.
Are you avoiding being human❓

Life can be fast-paced and hectic❗
"Acknowledge all of your small victories. They will eventually add up to something great."
- Kara Goucher
Our jobs can cause us to become so focused on the big picture that we overlook the minor details.
But, more often than not, it is the small things that add up to make a big difference over time.
The simple act of acknowledgment is one such gesture. 🤷🏻♀️
Have you taken a moment to yourself today❓

Even though the words appear in similar contexts, their meanings are distinct❗
“Empathy is walking a mile in somebody else's moccasins. Sympathy is being sorry that their feet hurt.”
- Rebecca O'Donnell
Empathy is a one-on-one connection formed by a deep understanding gained through the sharing of an emotional experience.
A feeling of sadness or pity for another person is known as sympathy.
Empathy and sympathy can both be useful tools; after all, don't we all want to know we're not alone❓
