Aim: In order to make children aware of uses of waste materials and make best out of waste.

The little champs of Grade 1 and 2 prepared very creative art items from different waste materials at INS, Parandwadi for their online CCA activity. They used reusable and recyclable materials like news papers, shoe boxes, bangles, ice cream stick’s and much more. From these items, they created amazing items and useful everyday objects leaving everyone impressed.

INSP- Grade 3 and 4
Everyone likes showcasing their talent in Fashion…. our little champs at INS, Parandwadi definitely do not lag behind in this matter. A Dress Designing Online Activity was organised as a part of the regular co-curricular activities for students of grade 3 and 4.
They showcased their creativity in their masterpieces created with newspapers, vegetable peels, leaves, flowers and other raw materials. The activity was extremely insightful and beneficial for everyone as it provided a platform for all the Young Fashion Designers…

The World Space Week is dedicated to the celebration of scientific and technological advancements that have been instrumental to the betterment of our lives. Under the able guidance of our Principal, Mrs. Uma Pradeep Indira National School, Parandwadi celebrated the World Space Week to honour the technology that has helped us in so many ways. INSP celebrated it as a CCA competition for the students of Grade 1 to 6. The CCA was organised to promote and discuss the benefits we receive from space and induce excitement in our students about space exploration. It provided a platform for our little scientists to showcase their talents in a unique way. Students created interesting and wonderful models for the competition. Glimpses are shared here….

Navratri Celebration

Objectives of learning: Significance of Green Colour

Nine days and nine colours during Navratri have different significance. Many devotees of Goddess Durga take this 9 colours and wear coloured clothes accordingly. It is believed that doing so brings prosperity, blessings & good luck to people.

As, Green colour signifies new beginnings and growth and is also associated with renewal, nature, and energy. Wearing Green colour on the second day of Navratri brings growth, harmony and fresh energy.
Children of Sr.KG Arka dressed in green colour clothes & took part enthusiastically in celebrating the second day of Navratri with the green colour significance.

Children promised that they will plant more trees & make the environment green and healthy. Teacher also encouraged the students to eat healthy green vegetables and stay healthy.

Art and craft activity

Art and Craft Activities describe a wide variety of activities involving making things with one's own hands.

Art and craft is usually inborn skill and can be a hobby too.

Art and craft activities spike a child's interest and tap his/her artistic potential.

The Children of Jr.KG prepared Crown of Community helpers along with their teacher where children coloured the helpers and stuck it on a broad strip of paper and wore it as a crown.

ART & CRAFT Activity

Introducing art and craft to the kids and involving them in activities will invest in building their cognitive, physical, and social development.

Engaging in such activities from a very young age leads to a tremendous improvement in hand-eye coordination.

The children of Sr.KG prepared Lifecycle of Butterfly as a craft activity .

The children had their cut-outs ready and wrote the names of all stages of butterfly.

All children enjoyed the activity and explained it to their teacher and parents.

Festival – "Janamashtami Celebration."
Jr KG and Sr.KG

Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated as a birth of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna is one of the most powerful avatars of Lord Vishnu. Dahi Handi is the main part of the celebration.

The children of Jr.KG & Sr.KG were all dressed up as Krishna & Radha . The teacher explained to the children, the significance of Janmashtami and lord Krishna.

The school principal Mrs.Uma Pradeep motivated and boosted the children for their outstanding performance .

Children sang shlokas, bhajans and few performed dance on the songs of Lord Krishna. It was a fun filled Janmashtami celebration.

"Plants Nursery”
A live Virtual Field Trip .

“Plants give us oxygen for the lungs and the soul”

A plant nursery is a place where they grow plants from seeds and stem cuttings using the appropriate fertilizers, watering schedule, light, etc. Nurseries are raised to get plants of the right size at the right time.

The children of Jr.KG & Sr.Kg learnt about different plants grown in the nursery through a virtual tour.

The children assumed that they are in the Nursery with a teacher and took a virtual tour of Nursery . They explored different indoor and outdoor plants. Learnt about the fertilizers and gardening tools..

The children were super excited to learn with fun.

Children made a promise of growing more and more plants to keep the environment green.
