Our budding had the opportunity to attend an insightful on “The Art of Kebab & Tikka” conducted by Chef Juhi Kaur Makhija, Head Chef, Ibis Pune Hinjewadi and Chef Rajendra Rajurawat, Tandoor Chef, Ibis Pune Hinjewadi.

The session gave budding culinary professionals valuable hands-on exposure to marination techniques, flavour balancing, grilling methods, and the precision required to craft perfect kebabs and tikkas. Through live demonstrations and expert guidance, students gained practical industry knowledge and a deeper understanding of professional kitchen standards.

Such masterclasses play an important role in shaping confident ready for the hospitality industry.

Our budding had the opportunity to visit the Institutional Canteen Kitchen at PGKM School, Kondhwa, Pune, gaining first-hand experience of large-scale kitchen operations and practices in action.

The industrial visit provided valuable insights into institutional kitchen workflow, food production processes, equipment handling, hygiene standards, and the coordination required in high-volume catering environments.

Through practical observation and expert guidance, students developed a deeper understanding of how professional kitchens function, helping bridge theoretical learning with real-world hospitality operations and preparing confident Day Zero Professionals.
