True conversation is a two-way street that requires active listening and thoughtful feedback. When students learn to listen with intent, they aren't just waiting for their turn to speak; they are processing ideas and building empathy! Today’s training session Matoshree Tanubai Dagadu Khade English School & Junior College Miraj. is dedicated to bridging that gap by focusing on developing conversation skills in the classroom. It’s about more than just speaking; it’s about mastering the art of the exchange.

In our training, we discussed that constructive feedback from a teacher is most effective when given after students practice, rather than during. This allows students to learn how to respond thoughtfully to one another. In pair practice, providing every student with a safe space to find their voice is a must. A child needs time to put thoughts into sentences while organizing their logic.

Teachers should also strive to make themselves "invisible" while students practice to encourage authentic active listening between peers. We must help children understand that active listening happens while the conversation is taking place. At this age, children often think listening simply means "being quiet," but true active listening is an active physical and mental process.
