The Sinhgad Institute of Management organized a 3-day interactive session on “Bridging the Gap Between Academia and Industry” for all students from 11th to 13th August 2025, conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. by Mr. Gajanan Garkar, Associate Project Manager, Mobisoft Infotech Pvt. Ltd. The sessions covered Day 1 – Understanding the Gap & Industry Expectations (SIOM Conference Hall), Day 2 – Essential Industry Skills & Real-World Adaptation (SIOM Conference Hall), and Day 3 – Transitioning to the Workplace (T12 Classroom).

On 7th August 2025, SIOM hosted a guest session on “Successful Corporate Persona” with three inspiring speakers: Suraj Das, Amit Muralkar, and Pralhad Mane. Students gained valuable tips to enhance their professional presence and career growth. 🚀

The Sinhgad Institute of Management successfully conducted a Workshop on Internship & On-the-Job Training (OJT) under the QIP sponsored by Savitribai Phule Pune University on 19th July 2025.
The event featured a panel discussion with distinguished industry leaders, including Dr. Parag Kalkar (Pro Vice Chancellor & Chairman, Board of Deans, SPPU), Mr. Amol Dhondse (CTO & Technology Leader, IBM), and Mr. Swanand Kulkarni (Director, Operations & CISO, Rubiscape).
It was an enriching session that enhanced students’ readiness for internships and career opportunities through real-time industry insights.

We're proud to announce that students from various Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES) institutions actively participated in the prestigious "Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025" innovation challenge. This national initiative, a collaboration with Samsung CSR, F**T IIT Delhi, and Think Startup, was organized by Sinhgad Institute of Management to empower our young innovators.
The event, held on June 27, 2025, at the SIOM Conference Hall, saw our students showcase their creativity by developing nine innovative project ideas, including an IoT-based Smart Drainage Monitoring System and an AI app for prioritizing emergency hospital patients.
The event, which was covered by CNBC-TV18 and featured on CNN-News18, gave our students' hard work national recognition. We're thrilled with their enthusiasm and the impactful solutions they created!
